There are so many facets to modern living, that it’s impossible to even become modestly knowledgeable about some of them. I, like most other American, love my pets. I realized years ago that mass market food brands were likely akin to fast food. So, I did some very topical reading online and decided to get a more expensive grain free food from an online retailer. Fast forward a couple years and I see my pets experiencing persistent allergies and other health maladies. I’ve considered upgrading to a healthier food after countless commercials on XM radio but every time I went to a website I was left confused about how to proceed. A friend referred me to Heartland Paws claiming that his cats fur was notably softer after just a couple weeks on a new healthier diet that the owner recommended. I’m happy to say that I made a visit to Heartland Paws and I’m so glad I did. The owner took the time to review my pets eating history and correlated that to my explanation of symptoms that my dog and cat had been experiencing. He explained how the food was made, the freshness of the meat, the cooking temperature, and what that does to the nutritional value, and a plan for transitioning my pet to a new healthier diet. Following the suggested plan, my pets are going crazy for this new food. The best part is that it is only marginally more expensive than my previous uneducated diet plan. If it has the promised long term effects of reducing vet visits then this new path forward is a no brainer. I wish I had visited Heartland Paws much sooner, but I am grateful to be taking steps to improve the health and wellbeing of my pets while I still can. Any future pets will undoubtedly be fed “right” from the start, thanks to what I’ve learned. Definitely go talk to Heartland Paws about your pets diet and see for yourself!

Heartland Paws is amazing! They truly know their stuff and carefully source only the healthiest foods. No junk or fillers. The owner always listens to my dog’s needs and offers thoughtful suggestions. I trust them completely!

I went in there needing something totally new for my pup so he eats more and consistently. This sweet girl was in there and took time the time to explain things to me give me good recommendations and was so kind. I highly recommend Heartland Paws. They are so kind and understanding of situations and are very knowledgeable. I will be getting my baby his food from Heartland Paws from now on.

I had my senior cat become picky over her food. Heartland Paws recommended a food and was confident that my senior cat would love it. And he was correct! Love this store.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Heartland Paws! My sweet French bull dog has a lot of allergies and Chris took the time to help understand my dogs needs and make suggestions for her diet. As a first time dog owner, I really appreciated his attention to detail. The new food and supplements we tried out starting in January, have completely changed my dogs life! She is more comfortable, sleeping better, her tear stains have improved, and her coat is so soft! Overall she just feels so good and energized! I would highly recommend checking this amazing store out♥️ they have a great selection of food, treats for special occasions, toys, and locally made bandanas!

Thank you to everyone at Heartland Paws! A year ago I rescued a sickly adult cat with multiple unknown allergies and I honestly believe these folks saved his life. They helped me to get him on the right food and supplements and off multiple antibiotics and steroids (which the vet said he'd be on for life). Now he is thriving and hasn't needed any meds for months. Healthy natural food is the best preventive care and it doesn't cost any more than the junk "food" sold at chain retailers. Actually, in the long run good food is less expensive as it will save you a fortune in vet bills and prescription meds down the road and give you more good years with your pet. Go see these folks, they are a wealth of knowledge, and you will be supporting a fantastic local business.

The staff at Heartland Paws is extremely knowledgable and caring. Our pup would often have ear infections or allergy flare ups, but we never knew what was the root cause. In our first visit to Heartland Paws, they took the time to explain what might be triggering these symptoms and provided numerous samples for our pup to try. Our pup has been able to make a full recovery and we are now happy, repeat customers. Thank you for caring!

We love Heartland Paws for so many reasons. The most important reason is the vast knowledge they have about dog nutrition and health. At their recommendation we started adding Lion's Mane Mushroom powder to our pup's food. The growth on his face disappeared and he didn't need surgery. So very grateful.

Owner and staff actually care about your pets!! After getting my three dogs and cat on food from here, Their coats quickly got softer and more full. I also noticed my wiener dog got to a healthier weight. If you don’t know much about what we should be giving our pets, Stop in and you will get all the information you need. Lots of different price points to choose from. I’m so happy I found this place!

The folks at Heartland Paws have gone out of their way to curate an inventory that I don't have to think twice about giving to my dogs. When we adopted our dogs, Heartland Paws had a great selection of high quality kibbles to help them gain weight and gave us sound advice to successfully transition them to an all raw diet. They're currently both thriving, and Chris makes sure to ask about them whenever I visit the store. The staff are genuinely great people who value their customers and have a heart for animals. Their auto-pay subscription feature is also super handy. Pay them a visit!
